Kyoko Yoshida honored with award for excellence in academic unit service

April 4, 2025 — Assistant Professor Kyoko Yoshida has received a 2025 Award for Excellence in Academic Unit Service from the University of Minnesota.

The award recognizes her outstanding contributions to the Department of Biomedical Engineering that have strengthened its functioning and climate. This is the second year of the award, which is a collaborative initiative of the Provost's Office and the Faculty Consultative Committee. 

This award reflects the University’s desire to recognize outstanding service at the unit level, and consists of a $500 stipend that can be used for professional development or research.
