Meagan Hagerty joins BME as Undergraduate Program Advisor
Meagan Hagerty is delighted to be returning to the U after a brief hiatus. During her time away, Hagerty realized her true passion is working with college students and is now returning "home" to the field where she spent the first 16 years of her career.
September 26, 2023 — The Department of Biomedical Engineering is excited to welcome Meagan Hagerty as its Undergraduate Program Advisor.
Hagerty spent the first 16 years of her career working with college students, including 5 years as an Academic Advisor with the U of M College of Science & Engineering. She’s also held positions working in residential life, leadership development, curriculum, and instruction.
Prior to joining the department, she worked as an onboarding consultant for an educational technology company.
Hagerty holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Education from Western Illinois University.
