Recent BME alum recognized for dissertation

June 14, 2020—Chih Hung Lo, a 2019 graduate of the biomedical engineering PhD program recently received an honorable mention for the Best Dissertation Award. The award program from the Graduate School recognizes the University of Minnesota's top recent PhD graduates. 

Lo's dissertation was titled, "Discovery of small molecule modulators of protein-protein interactions by FRET-based high-throughput screening and structure-based drug design." Professor Jonathan Sachs served as his advisor. 

Lo is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
