Summer research program for Morgan State undergrads wraps up
October 17, 2022 — Three Morgan State undergraduate students had the opportunity to conduct biomedical engineering research at the University of Minnesota this summer through a new summer research program from the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
Students were the inaugural members of the BME Pathways program, which features:
- The opportunity to conduct research in a lab over a 10-week period
- Skill development opportunities
- Social events
- Technical seminars from BME faculty
- Visits to local biomedical engineering companies
- University-wide poster symposium
BME Pathways is an all-inclusive research opportunity for STEM students and includes round trip flights, lodging, dining, local transportation, and a $5,000 stipend.
