Timothy Pearce receives 2016 BME Best Dissertation Award

April 5, 2016 — Timothy Pearce (PhD '14) has been awarded the Biomedical Engineering program's 2016 Best Dissertation Award. 

His project, "Self-assembly of ssDNA-amphiphiles into micelles, nanotapes, and nanotubes," was advised by Professor Efie Kokkoli. After he graduated in December 2014, he continued in Professor Kokkoli's lab as a post-doc for a few months. This past summer he began working as a consultant for a local medical technology consulting firm.

Later this month, the department will nominate Tim for the University-wide Best Dissertation Award in the Physical Sciences and Engineering division. Congratulations, Tim!
