Victor Barocas awarded for outstanding contributions to graduate and professional education

February 23, 2018 — Professor Victor Barocas is a recipient of the Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education Award. This University-wide honor is awarded to exceptional candidates nominated by colleges in their quest to identify excellence in graduate and professional education.

This award honors Professor Barocas' long service as the Director of Graduate Studies for Biomedical Engineering, his contributions to our graduate classes and curriculum, and the individual guidance he has provided his own trainees as well as students throughout the program.

Professor Barocas will be inducted into the U's Academy of Distinguished Teachers at an awards ceremony this spring.
