Dr. Carr took home the grand prize in the physical sciences division
Dr. Carr participated in the annual Research Computing Exhibition (formerly the MSI Research Exhibition) on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. His poster took home the grand prize in the physical sciences division - a travel stipend worth up to $2000. Dr. Carr finished defending his thesis in April under the supervision of Professor Claudia Scarlata and will be attending a postdoc at Zhejiang University in China. He will use the award to attend a conference in Australia to give a talk on his research.
