Check out our interview below and find out how earning this scholarship has helped Morgan take a step further into pursuing her career goals and deciding for a MOT program instead of an MBA.

- How did you first hear about TLI? What attracted you to the MOT program?

I first heard of TLI and the MOT program from a billboard on I-94 while driving home from work one day. I knew I wanted to pursue a master's degree ever since completing my undergrad, but was torn between pursuing an MBA or a technical degree. I did more research on the MOT program and knew it would be a great fit for what I was looking for. The MOT program builds business foundation skills, while placing an emphasis on strategic technological leadership - it's the best of both worlds!

How do you think the scholarship will help you to achieve your goals?

Pursuing a masters degree is a large financial commitment and one that can be stressful at times. Being younger in my career, loans are my primary source of funding for the MOT program. Receiving the TLI scholarship greatly reduces that financial impact and stress around taking out loans, allowing me to truly focus on the great opportunities and learning that the MOT program will provide.

What are you looking forward to in this program?

I am most looking forward to seeing the intersection of technology and business through the classes in the MOT program. I'm excited to start learning different business, leadership and technology skills that I can apply right away. Lastly, I'm looking forward to connecting with my fellow MOT classmates to hear about their experiences in business and technology and learn from them.

Thank you, Morgan for sharing your story with us, and good luck on your new career journey!
