BME PhD students win 2017-18 Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships

May 15, 2017 — Three Biomedical Engineering PhD students were awarded Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships (DDFs) for the 2017-18 academic year in a University-wide competition sponsored by the Graduate School.

The program provides selected recipients with the opportunity to devote full-time effort to dissertation research and writing during the fellowship year. Awards were given to:

  • Elizabeth Annoni (advised by Alena Talkachova)

  • Chao Liu (advised by Taner Akkin)

  • Abbas Sohrabpour (advised by Bin He)
