BME student embraces new experiences on the 2024 Homecoming Court

October 22, 2024 — Akshara Molleti began her academic journey majoring in biomedical engineering, motivated by a desire to impact healthcare through hands-on experiences. After discovering a passion for coding in a class, she decided to add a computer science major.

Connecting with peers from diverse backgrounds was the highlight of Molleti's University experience. "The unforgettable moments I’ve shared with friends will stay with me long after graduation," she said.

As graduation approaches, Molleti looks forward to working full-time in the medical device or tech industry. She is excited about being able to work on real devices and technologies that are going to impact people's lives.
