Jiaen Liu receives 2017 BME Best Dissertation Award

April 11, 2017 — Jiaen Liu (PhD '15) has been awarded the Biomedical Engineering program's 2017 Best Dissertation Award. His project, "Imaging Electrical Properties Using MRI and In Vivo Applications," was advised by Professor Bin He.

Since graduating in November 2015, Jiaen has been working at the National Institutes of Health as a postdoctoral fellow.

Later this month, the department will nominate Jiaen for the University-wide Best Dissertation Award in the Physical Sciences and Engineering division.
