Prof. Tranquillo named ARCS-Minnesota Scientist of the Year

Oct. 24, 2019—The Minnesota chapter of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation has named Professor Bob Tranquillo ARCS Minnesota Scientist of the Year.
Tranquillo is the award’s first-ever recipient. He received the award in honor of his 20-year tenure as Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and for being a long-time friend of the foundation's Minnesota chapter, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
