Department of Chemistry tackles Graduate Student Mental Health

Top of Mind is a podcast series highlighting the issue of mental health at the University of Minnesota. Interviews with students, staff, and faculty address trends in student mental health and the programs and services offered to students. In this episode, we talk with some students who share how COVID-19 and the events of 2020 have affected their well-being, and we look at what a couple of schools and departments have been doing to improve the landscape for student mental health.

Professor Philippe Buhlmann

The (CCGS) at the University of Minnesota is an open, welcoming, student-driven group that promotes a healthy academic environment for all graduate students in our Department. We connect students with existing University resources and refine and/or develop new resources aimed at increasing graduate student health, happiness and productivity. We also facilitate communication between the departmental faculty and staff and the graduate student body. All graduate students in the Department of Chemistry are welcome to attend any of the events or workshops.
