PhD student Natalie Raia has been selected as part of the American Geophysical Union’s (AGU) 2023-2024 Voices for Science program. Launched in 2018, the Voices for Science program centers around training scientists to communicate the value and impact of Earth and space science to decision makers, journalists, and public audiences. Natalie is one of 20 scientists across North America selected to work in the “Policy Track”. Over the next year, she will collaborate with fellow participants and AGU staff to conduct regular outreach activities and engage a variety of audiences through science communication and science policy.
