Clifford I. and Nancy C. Anderson Student Innovation Labs Student Shop
On the third floor of the Civil Engineering Building, lies a surprising resource for students.
The nearly 3,000 square foot Student Shop holds 3D printers, a 3D scanner for digitizing objects, an MTS load frame, a drill press, CNC router, table saw, band saw, a comprehensive collection of hand tools, and a welding room. Shop supervisor Ben Guengerich is passionate about helping students and others bring their ideas into reality. The Clifford I. and Nancy C. Anderson Student Innovation Labs Student Shop is open to everyone within the College of Science and Engineering.
The Student Shop is made possible through a generous donation from Clifford and Nancy Anderson coupled with the vision of Steven Crouch, former Dean of the College of Science and Engineering.
