This presentation was part of the re-opening celebration of the W. David Lacabanne Rock Mechanics Laboratory.
We are proud to announce that our rock mechanics laboratory renovation and upgrade has now been completed. In keeping with our long history of achievement and excellence, the department has ambitious goals for our bright future in the field of rock mechanics. Our newly renovated W. David Lacabanne Rock Mechanics Laboratory has new, state-of-the-art equipment and will be home to new research discoveries and exceptional instruction in the decades ahead. This project has also allowed us to preserve the legacy of Dr. Lacabanne, who was a valued colleague, mentor, and adviser to faculty and hundreds of geoengineering students who benefited from his guidance and teaching.
