Professor David Blank appointed Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs

MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL (7/6/2023) – The University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering Dean Andrew Alleyne recently appointed three new associate deans. Distinguished University Teaching Professor and Mr. and Mrs. George W. Taylor Distinguished Professor David Blank has been named Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs.

In regard to the announcement of his new position, Prof. Blank said, "Professor Paul Strykowski has done an absolutely exceptional job as the Associate Dean over the last 16 years, and this has left us with a firm foundation for the undergraduate programs in CSE allowing us to continue to provide the best possible service for our students. Paul leaves big shoes to fill, but I am excited about the opportunities, ready to face the challenges, and really looking forward to working with the extraordinary staff in CSE student services and the Dean's office as we continue to develop the best programs and opportunities for our undergraduate students in CSE."
