ESCI Career Panel - Spring 2021
The Spring 2021 ESCI Career Panel will be held on Friday, April 16, 9-10 AM Central. This year, we're excited and honored to bring in the following guests who have kindly volunteered their time to share their experiences and insights with you:
  • Chris Braaten (BA 2003), American Engineering Testing
  • Megan (Wang) Sumiejski (BS 2019), Cambria
  • Eric Waage, Hennepin County Emergency Management
  • Christina Morrison, Tiller Corp.
  • Eric Goergen (PhD 2009), Thermo Fisher
These panelists bring expertise from mining & materials, sample analyses (and the equipment to perform them), and natural hazards. Furthermore, their diverse experiences and paths to their careers can shed light on the breadth of opportunities available for graduating geoscience students.
 
The meeting will start with a few set questions for the panelists, and then open it to questions. This will be set up as a Zoom "meeting" instead of a "webinar" in order to make it easier to interact in the latter half of the panel session.
