Alumna Leah Schnaith named Outstanding Educator of the Year

Alumna Leah Schnaith was named Outstanding Educator of the Year by the Minnesota State College (MSC) Southeast. She teaches chemistry at the Red Wing and Winona campuses and online. Before joining the staff at MCS Southeast in 2002, Schnaith worked with the Red Wing School District, first as an early science, technology, engineering, and math program, supporting grades 2 through 6, coaching Math Masters, and tutoring middle and high schoolers in math and science. Schnaith earned her doctorate at the University of Minnesota, working with Regents Professor Lawrence Que Jr.
