Bailey Group - Ocean Bacteria and Carbon

A study led by ESCI's own Prof. Jake Bailey and Phd Student Dalton Leprich discovered that deep-sea bacteria dissolve carbon-containing rocks, releasing excess carbon into the ocean and atmosphere.
