Math Sub-plans

Math undergrads have the opportunity to specialize in an area of mathematics that aligns with their interests or career goals. Students can also complete the Math major without a sub-plan. 

Each sub-plan has upper-division course requirements, so the sub-plan you choose will guide which courses you select.

Pursuing a math major without a sub-plan makes sense for some students, such as those preparing for graduate study in pure and applied mathematics.
