Allison Small, Senior Graduate Program Coordinator

Allison Small is a double U of M alumni with her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development she earned during the pandemic in late 2020. As an undergrad she volunteered with friends at the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE). As an undergrad she worked as a peer advisor in CLA academic advising where she realized she wanted to focus her career on higher ed which led her to pursue her M.A degree. Her masters research centered around gender marginalization in STEM majors and industry.  She's worked full time at the University since 2015 and has been with us in CS&E since 2019 working with our masters students in Computer Science and Data Science. In her spare time she enjoys lounging with her cat Chandler, playing video games, watching bad movies, and all things food - cooking, eating, and learning about new kinds of cuisines and recipes!
