Chang Ge joined the Department of Computer Science & Engineering as an assistant professor in 2022. He also is a member of the committee for graduate admissions and a member of the Data Science Initiative. He received his M.S. (2014) and Ph.D. (2022) degrees in computer science from the University of Waterloo. Before coming to the University, Ge served as a research intern at Microsoft Research in 2018, Megagon Labs in 2019, and Apple in 2022.
Ge is broadly interested in data management, with a special interest in new algorithms and systems for enabling large-scale data analysis in the presence of private, dirty and siloed data.
