Fall 2025 Registration Information (Enforced Prerequisites)

Registration for the Fall 2025 semester begins Thursday, April 10, 2025. Students can find their appointment time by logging into MyU and selecting the "Academics" tab, then selecting the "Registration" sub-tab. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering has transitioned to enforced prerequisites under the direction of the Office of Undergraduate Education.

Registration Requests for CSci Courses with Enforced Prerequisites Form

If the system is blocking your registration attempt AND you believe you have the listed prerequisite for a course, please submit a request using our Registration Requests for CSci Courses with Enforced Prerequisites Form. If possible, you should enroll in a placeholder course in your schedule until you hear back from the department. Please only submit a request to the form if you've attempted to register and you have been blocked by the system.

Your request must meet one of the following criteria to be approved:

• You have an equivalency to the listed prerequisite.
• You have an acceptable substitution for the listed prerequisite.
• You may have a potential equivalent course that has not yet been evaluated for equivalency.
