Professional Background
Jack Kolb joined the Department of Computer Science & Engineering in 2021 as a lecturer. Prior to his time at the University, he served as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities from 2011-14, a research intern at Microsoft Research in 2017, and as a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from 2014-20. Kolb is also a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society and was named an Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019.
