Professional Background
Liia Butler joined the Department of Computer Science & Engineering in 2025 as an assistant teaching professor. She is pursuing her PhD in computer science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earned her MS from the institution in 2019. Prior to her time at the University, she served as graduate teaching assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
