Four CS&E Students Earn Amazon Fellowship

Four Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CS&E) PhD students have earned an Amazon Fellowship to support their research. The fellowship was established in November 2024 and was championed by CS&E Professor George Karypis, who helped steward this generous support from Amazon. The $400K fellowship supports a total of seven PhD students from CS&E and the Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering (ECE) with research focusing on machine learning systems, which is an area of priority for Amazon.

Congratulations to the 2025 Amazon Fellows!
