Hello! My name is Nhi Dang (she/they). I am a senior double majoring in computer science and mathematics. I am passionate about theoretical computer science, (system) software engineering, and the mathematics behind machine learning.
I have previously worked as a TA for CSCI 1933, CSCI 2033, CSCI 4041, and CSCI 4511W. This is my seventh semester as a TA. One of my favorite courses is CSCI 2915, a training seminar course that provides CS&E TAs with concrete skills and practice in leadership, communication, and inclusive teaching.
I have interned as a system software engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Canon Medical Informatics, while also working on my own startup. When I'm not coding, doing math, or being a TA, you can find me cheering on the Gophers women's hockey team or working on initiatives for international students on campus.
I am passionate about helping fellow CS&E students in their academic journey. I'm excited to help students demystify the puzzles in computer science classes and support them in their CSci journey as a CSci Peer Tutor.
