Professional Background
Mattia Fazzini joined the Department of Computer Science & Engineering in 2019 as an assistant professor. He received his M.S. (2012) in computer science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Ph.D. (2019) in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology. Fazzini also served as a panelist at the National Science Foundation in 2022 and as a program committee member at the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering in 2022.
Fazzini’s research aims to improve the overall quality of software. The central theme of his research is the development of techniques for software testing and maintenance. He is also interested in defining techniques for investigating software attacks and securing software.
