Circles Group

What is it?

This widget brings together the functionality of Large Callout Buttons and By the Numbers widgets—and introduces a new Dynamic Circles option. Along with offering more flexibility, the Circles Group widget also addresses existing accessibility issues found in the older widgets.

This new widget will replace the current circle-style widgets, and the old versions will be retired at a future date.

The Circles Group widget is available on the following content types:

  • Advanced Page
  • Feature Story
  • News
  • Unit Landing Pages

How do I use it?

Start by adding a new section to a page or by using an existing section. We recommend the One Column layout.

  1. Click the + button to add a widget to a section
  2. In the menu that appears, select Circles Group
  3. From the new page that appears, fill out the desired fields:
    1. For the overall widget:
      1. Widget Title
      2. Widget Title Format (H2-H6, make sure it aligns your page's content structure)
      3. Circles Type (required)
      4. Intro Text
    2. For each individual circle (fields vary depending on which Circles Type is selected):
      1. Title
      2. Callout Link
      3. Short Description
      4. Image
      5. Color
      6. Description in circle
      7. Image overlay
  4. Click Add Circles to add another circle. You can create up to five circles in a group.
  5. Click Save
